Where I have been... and some hauling
Some of you may know that I suffer from Chronic Migraine issues, but for those who have wondered where I am sometimes when I disappear that's what is usually going on. I've had them since I could remember and they can sometimes be really bad during a month causing me to have one 3-4 times a month lasting sometimes 2-3 days in a row. (This is part of why I miss some days/week even though I am trying to post daily).
Migraines are not fun at all, most medicines don't work when you don't catch them in time so you're stuck laying in a dark room with an icepack on the effected spots trying not to throw up from the pain. I could take prescription level medicine but I don't really want the lasting side effects that they can offer so usually I just deal with it and sleep the day away. (I don't feel like destroying my kidney or liver, or as one of the ones I was prescribed possible blindness side effect).
Anyway now that you guys know I hadn't just fell off the face of the earth, here is some things I have hauled that I will have upcoming in some posts.
Also on a side note, the person who won the March Giveaway never responded so I will be choosing another winner shortly.
If you're waiting on a prize I apologize in advance I didn't get it out on Tuesday like I had planned as I was down with a migraine and couldn't even go to work that day. Fear not though as I have Monday off for vacation and the store I'm going to has a USPS place inside!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Nice to see a post from you, feel better soon and drink plenty of green tea which sometimes helps relax the muscles in the body including the brain.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do love green tea so will have to start drinking it again. :)
DeleteSorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. I'm prone to migraines, and my remedy of choice is Migraineur; an aromatherapy blend from Twyla Perfumes & Apothecary (twylarose.com). The shop also carries blends for other ailments, as well as an assortment of perfume oils that will knock your socks off.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a shill, just a very happy customer. :)
Thank you!
DeleteI have tried peppermint oil before for them and that seemed to help a bit along with rest and an icepack, I will have to look into that brand. :)
great you are better. Indeed medicines can destroy your kidney
ReplyDeleteYeah, if a medication has a side effect I'd rather just wait till the pain is over!
DeleteI don't want to fix one problem and cause a worse one that is life threatening or could make it so I have to use another medication that would ruin some other organ!
