Short Hiatus

By 10/25/2013

I'm currently taking this week off due to medical issues, Saturday the 12th in the afternoon I started having stomach pain that through the night evolved into severe abdominal pain. The pain ended up moving to the right side of my abdomen by Sunday and then by Monday I got a fever of 101.9 so my husband rushed me to the ER that following Monday.

I had to sit and wait for them to see me which in itself took what seemed like forever, when they finally did the doctor threw the possibility of Appendicitis at me and I had to be prepped for a CT Scan. I ended up waiting a couple hours before I could even have them do that which was hell from the pain. Anyway long story short it's not my appendix but it is something might still require surgery, I'm hoping it doesn't come to that because I don't want to be out that long and I hate surgery.

I'm finally not in that much pain and my fever is gone but it is still difficult to move around and the idea of swatching and taking pictures is daunting at the moment still. I'm hoping to be back into the groove of everything and able to post again in another week. I might try to post something I already have pictures of but will have to see how the motivation is and if I can avoid falling asleep.

I hope everyone is doing well, and has a fantastic end of the month!

    1. They weren't 100% sure if there were stones, it's very inflamed/infected though. I see a surgeon on Friday and they will tell me if I have to have it out, I'm pretty much sure they will want to remove it.

Do you have any problems after it? I was concerned I'd be one of the people who still has issues even after surgery. :(

    2. Hi I had at the beginning , with certain foods I wasn't able to digest. Like eggs or something with fat or just dairy. After 6 months I was much better. Now I don't have any problems. But if they do a surgery be careful, don't left stuff that is heavy and be gentle with your moves in the beginning, but later you will be so good as new. actually you will se an improvement. that thing called stones is a kind a health sucker, it takes your energy, makes your skin sensible to allergies. Once they are gone u will live again.

    1. Thank you!

Me too, it was the most painful thing I have felt and even though it doesn't hurt as much right now it still is uncomfortable to move around/sit at a desk. :(
