Lime Crime - Eyeshadow Helper - First Look

Affiliate Links I Bought This

I've been wanting to try out the Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper Primer for quite some time now, finally when they changed the packaging and put it in a cute squeeze tube not too long ago I ended up caving and purchasing it.

I will have a review up and comparison swatches in the next week or two, I have quite a few different eyeshadow primers already but I can never turn down trying out a new one especially in the pretty unicorn packaging.

Anyway onto the photos!

Left to Right: Redberry Rose, Apricot Flower, Passion Fruit, Cherry Blossom

Left to Right: Meyer Lemon, Ginger Pumpkin, Café Au Lait, Blueberry Cream

Left to Right: Violet Whip, Lavender Honey, Cassis, Elderberry

Left to Right: Blue Chocolat, Almond Pear, Crème de Menthe, Citron Pistachio

My Rating:  9 out of 10 Feathers

Availability:  www.sigmabeauty.com

Cost:  $32.00 for Net Wt. 0.85oz./24g (16 shades)

Formula:  The pigmentation on these are really good, a few of the shadows can be a bit powdery but are still very buttery as opposed to chalky. I did have a little bit of trouble with Violet Whip, it seemed to not stick as well.

Packaging:  The packaging on this palette is compact and pretty, it'd be very easy to travel with this.

My Final Thoughts:  I really love this palette, it's pretty, compact, and the shadows are very bendable. I should point out Matte shadows are a little harder to work with compared to other finishes, that being said I did find Violet Whip was a little more difficult to work with as it didn't want to stick right off. The price though on this palette makes each shadow come out to $2 each which still isn't bad. I love the fact this palette has bright colors mixed in with some very soft pastels, it's definitely worth picking up and of course its limited edition so if you're wanting it I'd suggest picking up sooner then later.

Would I purchase again?  Yes, I am very glad I picked his up as I don't have a ton of matte shadows. It's also a very beautiful palette in the packaging and the shade range.

Look I did using the palette, FOTD here.

Formula:  I found the formula on these to be creamy, smooth, and pigmented. They did make my lips feel moisturized, and left a nice stained effect afterward.

The Packaging:  Pencil packaging with a twist bottom for more product.

My Final Thoughts:  I think Jordana did a great job on these, I felt they are great quality and made my lips feel and look nice. I love the colors I got to try out and would definitely purchase the remaining shades if I had them in my area.

Would I purchase?  Definitely!  think these are great for the price, they go on smooth and the color payoff is really good.
