So back in October Lime Crime came out with a new collection called the Alchemy Collection, I hadn't really bought anything from them in a long time and I was intrigued by one of the Lipsticks called Serpentina so I ended up ordering. I'm a huge unicorn geek and I love anything that has to do with them or Pegasus... well actually horses in general, I don't own a horse but I have always wanted to so this packaging screams to me.
The swatch for Serpentina looked amazing and I was curious if it really would look that way in person so I ended up just picking up the whole collection since they had a discount if you bought everything. The collection included two Lipsticks and an Eyeshadow Palette, I will have a review later on once I finished swatching (yep I am that far behind still).
Anyway onto the photos!
Have you tried any of these? What's your thoughts?
nice review and thanks
ReplyDeleteI love Lime Crime's lip products so much! I just got poison berry recently but haven't tried it yet. You reminded me that I must whip it out and see how it wears. I love Retrofuturist cause it's so shiny and stays strong through eating and drinking. There's some bleeding but I use MAC prep and prime to help with that. I have the Carousel glosses Candy apple, Cherry on top and Kaleidoscope and they rock so hard! So much pigmentation for a gloss and they stain well so the product fades gradually instead of smears off quickly. I managed to nab the velvetines but I haven't got around to trying them either.
ReplyDeleteThe packaging is too cute and different not to have a few products from Lime Crime and I have to say I'm a big fan.
I have an extensive review on my blog on the red glosses and Retrofuturist that I'd love for you to have a look at and give me some tips. Let me know if you want me to send you an email of the link.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that Alchemy would refer to a range of metallics but I sure was wrong! I think the colours are very similar to ones she already released.
