Glamour Doll Eyes - OTM - February 2014

I Bought This Affiliate Links

I've been extremely behind on everything, but I wanted to get back on track with showing the Glamour Doll Eyes OTM subscription. If you want to read about what it is be sure to check it out on their website.

Anyway onto the photos!

Swatched over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
This months color is absolutely gorgeous, I was very excited when I opened it up and saw just how beautiful it was and to top it off it blends very well and is very pigmented!

Dark Heart Designs Centaur's Wisdom
Along with the Glamour Doll Eyes shadow they also included an extra item from Dark Heart Designs, this does add a nice sparkle and at first from the bottle kind of reminded me of Lorac's 3D Liquid Lustre. When applied though it's more runny in texture and doesn't give that "pow" sparkle factor that the Lorac Liquid Lustre does, mind you it's still a very pretty shimmer if you're looking for something very subtle.

Are you part of the OTM subscription? What are your thoughts?

Upcoming New Series

Since I'm so far behind on things due to real life issues, I figured I would do a series called "Flash Back Friday". This would basically be me just posting pictures and swatches/reviews of things that may still be found online places but might be sold out in stores or other places.

I'm also going to try and do at least one day of a makeup look each week because I realize I've not done one in FOREVER. So if you have a request or anything else please go ahead and post a comment on what you would like to see in upcoming weeks, hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

Other Ways to Follow!

I'm currently trying to ensure I post on every social media outlet to allow my readers to have more places to checkout the new posts, so here's a quick list of places you can follow The Crow and the Powderpuff!

Glamour Doll Eyes

Back on June 21st Glamour Doll Eyes released a brand new collection called Matte²: Masculine, the set consist of 10 shadows with matte bases. The twist is the collection has some sheen/shifts to the matte bases to give them a little kick, I was supposed to review them back when they released but due to some unforeseen things I had been on hiatus.

Anyway onto the photos!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette - Review & Swatches

I Won This

Quite a while back I won a blog giveaway that Beauty Crazed was having and the Urban Decay Naked Palette was included in the package. It also included a travel size Urban Decay Primer Potion but I wanted to focus on the shadows themselves in this review.

Anyway onto the photos!

Below swatched over Urban Decay Primer Potion (travel size) that was included
Left to Right: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked
Left to Right:  Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

My Rating:  9 out of 10 Feathers

Cost:  $52.00 for 12 x 1.3g e 12 x 0.05 US oz (price may vary depending on location)

Availability:  Sephora, Ulta, ect, and  www.urbandecay.com

Formula:  Very pigment, creamy, and smooth as well as very blendable.

The Packaging: Sturdy cardboard with velvet material on the outer packaging, magnet flip top.

My Final Thoughts:  The palette has fantastic quality shadows, I found them to be very pigment, smooth, and creamy not powdery at all. The more matte shadows are not as creamy but that is a given with that kind of a finish. I did not like the velvet feel type material on the outer package, I find that it collects dust as well as pet fur so even though it looks really nice it's not something I enjoy having on my makeup palettes so this knocked off a point in my rating. I do like the sturdiness of the packaging itself so I will give them props on that. As for the brush I do enjoy that it was added as it is very nice quality.

Would I purchase again?  Yes, this palette is a must if you want a fantastic neutrals set of shadows!

Do own this? What's your thoughts on it?
