So today as the husband was backing out of our garage I noticed a delivery person was kind enough to drop a package (unexpected one at that) off leaning up against my garage door instead of the porch where it belonged. Note that they had delivered to my actual door step before... it wasn't like it was a mile away... it was just around the side of the house with a paved walkway and everything, all clear!

I was happy that it had not rained or anything or that we didn't back over it as we were leaving... I mean I admire hardworking delivery workers and applaud the bs they might have to deal with but come on.. leaving a packaging on the ground leaning up again a garage door with no cover? What if I had never noticed it was there or we backed over it with the car? What if it rained, what if a deer decided it wanted to wear makeup and took off with it? Then what... I'd never have known it was there and I'd be wondering why Bambi was wearing stellar lipgloss and Lash Genius.

They sent along this, which was a neat touch!

It had a bunch of slides with different things about the products!

 

I'm really interest in trying this one out!

I will have swatches an a review up as soon as I get some free time (6 day work week this week).

Sleek Makeup - First Look

A while back I won a giveaway that Sleek Makeup was hosting on their Twitter, I wasn't sure what the prize was but I was pretty happy when I got my package in the mail. I own a few other palettes that I got from a friend Anastasia of Lipstick & Lightsabers (she's on hiatus for now, miss her!) and I haven't posted them yet but plan to soon.

Sleek is a company in the United Kingdom and I believe the only place you can purchase the products are online on their website if you don't live in the UK (there may be some other places I'm sure though). I'm not sure what the international shipping is now but I think before it was a minimum cost of $13+ but now I see it is $10, although you'd probably want to pick up more then one thing since these palettes are around $10 each so I can't see paying $20 for one palette from having shipping higher.

I was happy I got the Sunset palette as I didn't own this one yet.

Aromaleigh - First Look

I have ordered from Aromaleigh before... that was a long time back before they had closed down and then reopened. I did not post those before as I had just gotten into buying from Aromaleigh and they were closing a month or so after I ordered from the. The products I had bought before were gorgeous so I was excited to see they reopened and buy some more things.

What I ordered were from the sale on their site for old collections they had before closing along with some of the new limited edition collections as well. I will have a review up soon along with swatches.

Milani Cosmetics - Shadow Eyez Pencils 2012 - First Look

Milani has some new things for 2012, when I got this one I knew I had to share it right away because it's fantastic. The Milani Shadow Eyez 12 Hour Wear Eyeshadow Pencils remind me of the Nyx Jumbo eyeshadow pencils in packaging and creaminess, however they are far superior from what I have seen so far

Milani Cosmetics - Pure Love Collection - Limited Edition

Milani released a limited edition collection called Pure Love during the month of April, this collection was exclusive to Walgreen's. The collection consisted of 3 nail polishes, and an eyeshadow trio.

I've not seen this collection yet at my local Walgreen's (then again my area is slow at getting collections) but I was lucky enough to get a chance to check it out.

I'm just doing a quick review on this one since it's limited edition! I also plan to do a look with the shadow trio soon!

My thoughts:

I really love the shadow trio it is very pigmented, easy to work with, and the shadows are smooth not chalky at all. The eyeshadow trio is perfect for taking with you in your purse or bag since it's all in one easy to carry compact. Perfect for a neutral or for a more dramatic smokey eye look.

The nail polishes are all very pretty, my favorite is Bridesmaid but Gray Tuxedo is a close second. All three of them apply nicely, Brides Maid and White Wedding Dress are fairly opaque with just one coat (Gray Tuxedo needs two coats).

If you happen to see this at your local Walgreen's I'd definitely suggest picking it up!

A while back I got a chance to check out the Milani Cosmetics Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows, the ones I got to try are the two new palettes for 2012 in Primary and Complementary. You can find these shadows on the Milani Website for $8.99 each as well as some local stores like Walgreen's, Target, K-Mart, ect.

Maybelline - EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24HR Shadows - First Look

A while back when these were first released I saw them for buy one get one half off at my local Walgreen's, so of course I picked some up of them. From what I hear these compare to MAC Cosmetics paint pots, but of course for a much cheaper price.
