Here's a small look at some of the hauling I did from Morgana's Cryptoria for Black Friday as well as a first purchase of Nfu Oh polishes from Fabuloustreet.com.

Well since I have somehow become ill beyond posting (Thank God for Nyquil), there is no way I can seriously post a review or even swatches.

So I leave you with this...

Let's hope this cold... or zombie virus leaves me by tonight because I have a LONG day tomorrow if it doesn't. :(

imPRESS Press - On Manicure - Review

I received these in the Influenster Holiday Voxbox, I don't usually have long nails as mine are always breaking since they are thin and brittle. They come in several cool designs and have several sizes included.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure
This changes everything!

Introducing imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway Nails, the revolutionary way to apply polish! Featuring advanced nail technology, you can get a salon-perfect manicure in seconds – simply peel off, press on, and you're done. There's no drying, a killer shine and a manicure that lasts up to a week! And, imPress is so easy to remove, you can change it up to match your mood as often as you want. Check out all 36 colors and patterns, including trendy brights, classic darks and animal prints. With imPress, your nails will always be your best accessory.

imPress Manicure retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and is available at CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and more. For a full list of online and in-store retailers, visit imPressManicure.com, where you can download an exclusive coupon and virtually try on all the colors and patterns!

Price:  Price is average for this kind of product, depending on how long it last it may or may not be worth the cost. It's definitely cheaper then getting a fancy manicure.

Pros:  Easy to apply, look nice, no dry time compared to a regular manicure. I think the package is a cute idea, loved the fact it's a cute nail polish bottle container.

Cons:  May be tough for people to find the right fit if they have smaller nails. They won't make it through everyday wear if you do a lot with your hands.

Would I purchase again: I'm not sure... I might for just a one night thing but I can't see putting them through everyday wear and tear.

Sephora Christmas Haul

So for Christmas my husband and I got each other a stocking filled with stuff we knew the other would love. I got an assortment of chocolates, gum, and Sephora gift cards! He actually got me a $25 one then hid another $25 one somewhere else (sneaky husband)!

Anyway I've never been into the Sephora store in my area since they opened it so I figured I'd go check it out and maybe save some shipping cost. I went in not sure what I wanted and since it was just a small store inside the JCPenny at the mall I knew they didn't carry everything an actual freestanding store would carry.

I was checking out things like the True Blood Palette, the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV, and Kat Von D stuff. I happened to pass by an end cap that had a sign that said $6.77, and on that shelf I saw about 10 - 15 Kat Von D Metal Orchestra Palettes. I did a double take when I saw that and headed towards the closest employee. She was really nice and told me right away that it was the correct price for the palette! They were originally $34 each but are now marked down to just $6.77!!!! So I did what any makeup girl would do, I grabbed 3 of them and tried to decide if I wanted to grab them all!

I ended up getting 3 of them so I could of course have a giveaway with them for my lovely readers! I may just have to go back to get more this weekend lol. Anyway I couldn't exactly go out and tell my wonderful husband that I spent all of the Christmas money he gave me on giveaway prizes, so I still had to find something I could walk away with that I was keeping!

I browsed for what seemed like forever and finally after several passes ended up grabbing the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV. I would have passed it because I think $64 is a bit much for something that I've heard some people say wasn't up to par, but they had it on sale for just $44 and I figured why not! Anyway as I was standing in line to check out I ended up seeing cute little Tokidoki mint cases and grabbed 2 of them. As the girl was checking out my things she complimented me on my winged liner and hot pink lips!

I was wearing Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Valentine with some crazy winged liner, she was sweet and said "a girl after my own heart wearing winged liner and hot pink lips!" It's nice to get compliments from MUA's.

When she finished ringing me up she said "you saved $109 today!" I was like OMG!!! So when I got to the car I told the husband and then began scanning the receipt, apparently the Tokidoki mints used to be $5 each! I mean come on they are mints!! I got them for $0.97 a piece and should have grabbed more (for giveaways of course)!

So enough rambling, keep an eye out for upcoming giveaways with the Kat Von D Metal Orchestra palette, and hopefully some Tokidoki mint tins!

Can you believe I got all these for $70?!?! Anyway I'm coming down with some sort of cold/sore throat so I'm off for the night, I will try to finish up some reviews once I feel better.

Do you own the UD BoSIV? What do you think of it? Love it or Leave it?

****CLOSED***** Holiday Giveaway - 2011

My Christmas has been a little off, somehow the days got mixed up for our family gathering and I ended up being called at 5pm last night being asked what happened and why I wasn't there. My Mom swears she told me they changed it to Saturday instead of Sunday but somehow I think she just forgot to call me and tell me about the change.

Needless to say the husband and I spent the rest of yesterday eating a "Christmas" pizza instead of delicious family gathering foods. I'm sad because I missed out this year on the the get together but eh sometimes things like that happen.

Anyway, today's post is a Holiday Giveaway! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Holiday!

Prize

OPI - Muppets

I picked up 3 of the OPI Muppets nail polishes, I wanted to get more but when I went back to the store they were sold out. I'm pretty sure that is because they make wonderful stocking stuffers, or just presents in general! I bought each for $8.49 at my local super grocery store, when I looked at Ulta they were selling them for $12.50. The only difference I could notice was a little white striping on the bottles, I thought maybe it was just an issue with that batch but I noticed some other polishes also had the same issue (I'm guessing that store is where all the "mutant" bottles go and maybe that's the drop in price?).

Anyway onto the photos!

I may try to locate some of the others, not sure yet.

Do you own anything from OPI Muppet Collection? What ones do you love?

Smashbox Wish For the Perfect Pout - First Look

A while back I entered a weekly challenge contest on the Makeup Geek forums, the challenge was to make a look inspired by a cartoon character. I saw a really pretty picture of Tinkerbell and ended up doing this look based off of it.

The prize for winning the challenge was the Smashbox Wish For The Perfect Pout, a box full glosses. I will be trying these out and posting swatches and a review soon.

Sugarpill Cosmetics - Black Friday Haul

During Black Friday I picked up a bunch of things I wanted from Sugarpill (not all of them because the husband would flip if had bought the remaining 11 items I don't own!), I bought quite a few things but I still have more on my list!

I love Sugarpill and cannot say enough good things about them, their products, and their wonderful customer service! I will have swatches up soon along with a review of the things I bought.

Wet n Wild - Fantasy Makers 2011

During Halloween I saw a ton of Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers products, I didn't pick up things in time and when Halloween was over I was only able to snag a few things. I got a hold of two of the nail polishes and one of the lipsticks. I think I paid $0.96 after they discounted them 50%, I can't remember what the original prices were which is my bad.

Anyway onto the photos!

In the swatches the sparkles in Black Magic really did not show up very well, not sure why as I could see them in person. I would have to say my favorite is definitely Purple Potion.

China Glaze and Seche Vite

A month or so ago I was looking to purchase the Seche Vite Top Coat, I found it for $7.99 at Sally's. Before I hit the register I noticed this combo pack for $9.99 I decided why not get a China Glaze polish for a few dollars more and so I put back the single Seche Vite Top Coat. Using my Sally's Beauty Member card I got this for $8.99, so it was a great deal for two items plus it came with a cute key chain that reminded me of something from Sailor Moon.

Anyway onto the photos!

I've become pretty addicted to purchasing polishes, I think I'm well over 20 China Glaze alone that I own. I will try to swatch them all in the future. I wish I could buy them all but I need to slow down a bit as money still isn't 100% back on track current!

I'm also really loving the Seche Vite Top Coat, it dries fast and keeps my polish from chipping easily.

What's your favorite polish?
