I picked up these a few weeks back at my local Walgreen's for $2.99 each when I went to grab the baked palettes. I will have swatches up shortly along with swatches of the holiday palettes and matte palette.

Morgana Cryptoria Lip Gloss - Review
I own about 4 Morgana Cryptoria Lipsticks... I of course being addicted to eyeshadows over lip products didn't think I needed to own many products pertaining to lips. Boy was I wrong, I've since changed my ways and proceeded to buy up a bunch.
Morgana Cryptoria has so many gorgeous shades to choose from so deciding what colors and what kind to purchase was not an easy thing to do. I wanted to try out the Lip Glosses and during Halloween they had this cute trident packing ($17 for 3 shades of gloss in mini tubes).
I also had to purchase some of the Gel Lipsticks, those however are for another post and will have their own separate post. One feature I LOVE about Morgana's Cryptoria website is that I can actually add onto my order if I forgot something, (or in my case want even more) and it has an option to add on so that it can be sent together and not ding you with another shipping charge.
Just a side note that right now there is currently a sale going on from the Black Friday to Cyber Monday thing, so not all the products are showing on the site/some are sold out.
Anyway, onto the gloss swatches!

Ignore my no makeup face. :( |
For Agamemnon's Mask I chose Buttercream scent, for the Trident glosses I opted to go with Red Licorice. Of course I believe there are other scent options or the option to not have any scent at all.
I should also note that after purchasing the shades in the trident I regret not picking up full sizes of those glosses because they are GORGEOUS!
Price: $12 for approximately 10grams or $5 for approximately 3.5grams .
Pros: Very moisturizing, beautiful color payoff, scent options. Price is very reasonable for the quality/quantity. Website option to add onto an existing order is also a plus to me (I did add on because I saw more stuff I wanted lol). Packaged well, everything arrived safely and in cute little bags.
Cons: The only thing that might be a con for some people is the shipping time, I personally have no issues with waiting longer (it is run by one person and these are handcrafted items, so keep that in mind and it's not even "that" long). Morgana's is so worth waiting for and the owner is extremely nice and easy to purchase from!!!
Would I order again: Definitely Yes! So far there is not a single item I have not loved that I purchased from here (I've actually just joined the Coven Membership as well as placed another order too)!

China Glaze - Belle of the Ball Set
This is another China Glaze set I picked up this weekend, I believe this set was also $7.99 but I got it for $6.99 with my Beauty Card at Sally's. I still have 3 nail polishes to get from the Let it Snow Collection so hopefully I can find them tomorrow at a different Sally's (they were sold out at the one I went to).
The Champagne Bubbles has silver glitter in it but doesn't seem to show up in the pictures, it's very pretty in person.

China Glaze - Let It Snow Set
This is another China Glaze set I found at my local Sally Beauty, it cost $7.99 but if you are a Beauty Club member it's $6.99. I got the set because for just a single nail polish I believe it ran around $5.99 or $6.99 each, so the set is a really nice deal.
It comes with a miniature snow globe, although I find it's kind of a sad snow globe because it looks like the bottom was squished before it hardened. Of course not that it's suppose to be a stellar item since it's just like getting a free toy with your meal... but still.
Blue Year's Eve kind of has a shift of purple in it, I couldn't really capture that in photos though.

China Glaze - Glittering Garland
I picked this color up with the other holiday set last weekend, I plan on trying to get every color from this collection as they are all very pretty. This is from the China Glaze "Let it Snow" Holiday Collection 2011.

Website Revamp
As you may have noticed, I'm currently working on my website! I wanted to make it something more simple looking as well as start working towards making it look more professional.
That being said here is the banner picture I painted using my recent Fiji Fire Eater picture!
I'm still working on the portrait (I have to find my Wacom Tablet to finish the little details, painting with a mouse hurts/is tough for small detail!) but I hope to have it completely finished soon. :)
Along with the new look I really want to try and work on gearing towards more accurate pictures of products as well as a better template on how I'd like to present reviews.
Anyway, feel free to leave some comments on things you'd like to see in the future on The Crow and the Powderpuff!
And again thank you for following! :)

China Glaze - Seasonal Sparkles Gift Set
I stopped in at my local Sally's Beauty store this weekend to check out some China Glaze and came across the Let It Snow collection. I was going to pick up just two when the lady showed me this set that has 3 polishes in it for just $7.99 ($6.99 if you're a beauty club member).
So of course I wanted to get the set of 3 since buying just one alone would have cost me $5.99. The also had a few other holiday packs but I just couldn't walk out to meet my husband and have him ask "How much did you spend this time?" and have to respond with "You don't want to know!", so for now I just picked up a few things.
Anyway onto the swatches and pictures!
Again I'm new to this nail stuff (I used to paint them in the past but stopped for a LONG time) so bare with me on the fact it's not 100% cleaned up.
Anyway, I really did like this set and would have to say my favorite out of the 3 would have to be Twinkle Lights! The Holly - Day one didn't show up as well as I'd have liked in the photo, it is a big lighter then it appears.
What do you think? Did you pick up any of the China Glaze Holiday polishes?

Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiaging Eye Primer - Review
I little while ago a received a sample of this primer to test out, I'd never heard of it before nor have I ever tried out Korres before so I was very interested in trying it.
What the site says:
PROPERTIES
Price: $21.00 for .14fl oz./4ml.
What the site says:
PROPERTIES
- A 3-in-1 Eye Primer, Corrector, and Antiager. Provides a 360° smooth canvas around the delicate eye area, ensuring crease-proof, long-lasting eye shadow and concealer wear. Enriched with Quercetin & Oak extracts, it smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to provide smooth, softer skin, while visibly improving skin texture.
KEY FEATURES/BENEFITS
_Corrector: Built-in apricot undertone instantly corrects darkness and imperfections on the eyelid and underneath the delicate eye area.
_Crease Resistor: Ensures long-lasting, crease-proof eye shadow and concealer wear.
_Anti-ager: Smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Quercetin & Oak Extract - a powerful antioxidant helps improve the signs of aging.
Price: $21.00 for .14fl oz./4ml.
Pros: Keeps shadow on all day, doesn't crease, goes on smoothly. It did help fade the dark circles under my eyes. Doesn't dry out my lids like Urban Decay Primer Potion can.
Cons: The price, as just a primer this is a little steep to me for $21. For $19 for .37 fl oz./11ml I can purchase Urban Decay Primer Potion. Although since this has multiple purposes I'd not let that deter this product purchase.
Would I order again: As a primer alone I wouldn't order this over UDPP although I currently have a cheaper eye primer that I feel works better than both this and UDPP. As a 3-in-1 product however I would probably purchase this as it has more than one use and it did seem to help fade the dark circles under my eye.
