RIP Urban Decay Primer Potions...

So I have had 2... well 3 now Urban Decay Primer Potion bottles just sitting around, they were "empty" as far as you could tell from actually dipping the wand in and trying to pull some out. Of course we all know they aren't REALLY empty, I've just been lazy and not depotting them because I had more than a few.

I decided today was the day to put them to their demise... the lovely bottle that reminds me of a genie bottle is cute, but it had to die. And so I sat in my kitchen hacking away at it like a mad butcher.

One 10gram and one 5gram jar later... two bottles became this.

Thank you Urban Decay for finally making the new primer containers so that I can avoid almost hacking off a finger. (I feel sorry for people who had to throw away bottles before this was discovered)

Ulta unplanned stop... Purminerals.

So today while I was checking my e-mail via my mobile phone I got an e-mail from Ulta... something about free samples but I decided to read it anyway. The thing that caught my eye was the current buy one get one free on the 4-1 purminerals pressed foundation. I am extremely low on this stuff as I like to use it for pretty much everything (brow highlighter, foundation for quick tutorials, ect.). It wears well, it covers well for being extremely light feeling and I can build it up as much as I want to. Anyway I ended up grabbing 2 of them in Porcelain for the low low price of $26 which is pretty freakin awesome.

They also included in them a sample of the  Neutral Primer, I'm all for trying stuff.

Since I hadn't posted the first time I bought some purminerals I got these with the starter kit.

Stopped at the Drugstore.... Wet n Wild.

So after lunch today the Husband agreed to stop at the Walgreen's near me to see if they finally got the Dreamweavers collection on their shelves so I can grab some more to do giveaways with. Unfortunately they did not so I decided to grab a couple things anyhow.

I ended up getting Silent Treatment, Sweet as Candy, and Brulee (because I keep hearing people say it's a great highlight color. They also gave me some samples of the YES To Cucumbers wipes.

Brulee is definitely going to be a perfect highlight shade, it almost blends into my skin tone.

My favorites out of this one are Recruit, Bird? Plane?, Oddity, and Bruised. Click the banner below to visit Glamour Doll Eyes and purchase products. :)

I think it's also really cool that you can get a "Collection Card" to keep track of what you own. Kudos Glamour Doll Eyes on having that!

Day Two Galavanting For Wet n Wild Dreamweaver's...

So because I found out some disappointing news just yesterday, my wonderful husband told me he'd take me to another Meijer's store to see if they had more of the Dreamweaver's collection since it's on sale for 50% off.

I had cleaned out one of the stores near me on one side of town and today we just happened to stop for lunch somewhere so he dropped me off at the entrance to the other one. I couldn't find the display so I again asked someone who took me looking around and she said they didn't have it. So I decided to grab some Wet n Wild anyway since it's on sale.

I grabbed an Eye Makeup Remover, and the Cool as a Cucumber trio, on my way out I noticed some makeup near the Pharmacy so I decided to check the back end-cap. To my surprise there was the display, this one was filled just as much as the other with 3 of each color missing (We're Blasting Off, Enter a New Realm, and Fly Me to the Moon. I was just going to grab back-ups of the ones I like but the husband said he didn't care if I bought them out so I've cleaned out two stores so far (unless they have more stock) lol. So now I have back-ups of the collection, plus some extras for a giveaway in the future (I'm slow on the giveaways because I work 40+ hours and take care of a home along with everyday trials, hopefully everyone can understand if it takes longer to get things out as well as get decisions made).

Wet n Wild Dream Weavers – Limited Edition Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios

I went looking for these at 3 different store on July 15th when they were supposed to be released... 2 Walgreen's and 1 Mejier's, I came home with nothing and no one seemed to know when or what it was. I was told to try again on Thursday the 21st... I went to one of the Walgreen's first thinking they surely would have it, I came out empty handed. My husband and I were going to see Harry Potter: Deathly Hollows Part 2 and had time to spare so he suggest we hit up the Mejier's just to see.

I figured I wouldn't find them there since Walgreen's didn't have them yet, so I walked in and looked where the Wet n Wild stock was... I didn't find the Dream Weavers. I was sad but I did noticed a sign that said "50% off Wet n Wild" I was thinking at least I'll get something for 50% off. I was going to just grab something when I noticed a stocking lady so I decided "what the hell" and I asked her if she had gotten them in. She took me around to all the end caps and then said she doesn't think they have them.

Defeated I walked with her to one last end cap... looked up and did a tiny dance in my head. I finally found them! There were 1 of each color left plus 3 extras of half the collection. I thought I can't just purchase one of each... they are Limited Edition and supposedly going to be rare. So I gather up all 9 of what was left and asked her if she knew if it was included in the sale, here response was "I don't think so since they are a new item". I decided to get the extras anyway figuring I'd find something to do with the extras, I mean they were only $2.84 each.

So I went up to the self check out and scanned the first one, I ended up doing another little happy dance in my head and cheered when I saw that they scanned for $1.42 each! I ended up with 9 trio palettes for just $13, can't beat that!

Honestly these eyeshadow trios are fantastic, the pigmentation is great. Some can be a little more powdery then others but most all of them go on well. From first look my favorite ones are Bright Idea, Dancing in the Clouds, Enter a New Realm, and Fly Me to the Moon. If you can get your hands on these I would definitely do so! I'm not sure just how rare they will be but I'm going to check Mejier's again before the sale ends and see if they have restocked to grab a few more before they sell out for good.

Chunky Bling Jewelry review... shinies yes please!

So a while back I was offered a chance to check out Chunky Bling, I'd never heard of them before so I went to look on their site. They have rings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches... some with beading some with crystals and some combined. I went for the Swarovski Green Palace Ring because well... I love green and as a crow I certainly love the shinies! The person I spoke with was very nice, let me know what was going on before I knew it I had my ring.

It came wrapped in this pink paper (I used my camera phone for this since I couldn't find my camera). Very neatly wrapped.
Inside that it was in a tiny plastic baggie that was wrapped with bubble wrap.
Inside that I had a gorgeous sparkling ring! The band is made of beads and elastic band material, it fits any of my fingers perfectly so I can wear it however I want to. I love the way the green beads look and of course I love the shining Swarovski crystals! The cost of this ring is $12.95 currently.

I definitely want to purchase a necklaces or bracelet as I lack jewelry (besides my wedding ring I don't wear much). The prices are very reasonable and you can even build your own watch on the site by mixing and matching parts. :)
