YESto Carrots, Cucumbers, and more. - First Look

 YESto Carrots

So today I got a surprise visit from my Fedex guy...he dropped off a package from YESto which sells skincare products. Recently I purchased the YESto Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter because I have been trying to find a lip product for my dry, cracked, and sore lips.

I've tried a few other things like MAC's  Lip Conditioner, Bert's Bee chapsticks, and others but they don't seem to endure very long and I end up with cracked lips again making it difficult to wear lipstick without it looking terrible. (Just as side note I originally saw these products reviewed by Nat Neagle which is why I decided to try out the Lip Butter) I'm still trying the balm out as I've only had it about a week and half but already I can say it's making a difference and my lips already look smoother as well as feel better. I will finish this review once I've had a chance to wear it for a while longer and let you all know what I think!

Anyway here is what I got today.....

I have to say that I am extremely excited to try these out and review them....currently I have redness on my cheeks, and nose and no mater what I do my skin seems to always look dry and dull (especially now with the cold/winter)...I also can't seem to get an even skin tone (unless I wear makeup) so I'm looking forward to seeing if this routine will help out. Another Product I am curious about from them is the YESto Blueberries which is for an "Age Refresh" to help with mature and dull skin...I'm thinking I shall try to pick up some at the store if I fall in love with the current products I am reviewing. :)

Note: These products were sent to me for review I did however buy my current YESto Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butter.

Glamour Doll Eyes Custom Tower

So a few days ago I won a giveaway from Glamour Doll Eyes for a Shadow Tower and I got to pick what shadows I wanted in it. Also I want to say thank you to Vee for the great giveaways and that these shadows are extremely gorgeous.  I got the package in a few days and it was wrapped very nicely so arrived perfect.

Anyway here are the pictures and the swatches!

Note: For some reason Doll House and Juicy Mango show up darker than in person.

Note: Taken blurry and without flash to show more true to color and sparkles.

I'm definitely happy with the colors I picked for the custom tower. :)

So even though I'm currently taking it easy on spending per being off work I wanted to join in all the giveaway fun and host The Crow and the Powder puffs first giveaway!

I have included 23 pigment samples most are MAC which I purchased the original jars myself from the CCO or MAC Cosmetics Online. I've also thrown in Sugarpill samples as well a Sugarpill Sticker which I think is cute as well as one of Shrinkle's business cards which is equally cute. :) I also threw in some Temptu Adorn temporary tattoos, Urban Decay Primer Potion sample, Urban Decay Doug lipgloss sample, and Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer. I also have a Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy sample, mini shadows in, La Noche, Parental Advisory, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Digital Faerie, and Chaotic Evil which should be coming shortly. I plan to try and throw some more in possibly going to purchase 1-2 of my favorite Sonia Kashuk brushes as well as some other random items. :)

Note: Some of the sample labels I hand wrote...please don't make fun of my shotty handwriting. ;)

Decided to add in some Full size and sample Glamour Doll Eyes and a trial size of Boscia moisturizer. :)
Note: the Twi-shadows in the picture are mine yours will be unopened backups I had bought.

Adding in a picture of the Fyrinnae items for the giveaway

Note 2.0: I purchased all of the these items myself minus some samples that came in orders I made.

Spotlight of the Moment: Glamour Doll Eyes

Currently I'm organizing my collection and decided to start a Spotlight of the Moment series to show the stuff I have and since I haven't yet reviewed this company I figured I would I throw this one up. I will have other companies up shortly which is why I named it Spotlight of the Moment. ;)

I first ordered from Glamour Doll Eyes way back on October 11th 2009, I ordered Electric Lemonade and the limited edition Halloween collection that included Monster Mash, Urban Trash, Orange Crush (now known as Jailhouse Jumpsuit), and Killer Ego. I really liked these colors as I didn't already have matching ones.

Glamour Doll Eyes does put a * symbol to mark which shades are unblended repackaged mica which I can say some other places don't do that so I applaud this move. Since back then I've ordered (4) times from them, once was to buy a full Twi-shadow set that was on sale. I do have quite a few unblended ones but I also have a lot of the later ones that are very unique and blended shadows. I love the Twi-shadow set so much that I bought backups of them.

Currently Vee who is the owner is releasing new shadow towers which are stackable jars of pre-made or custom (you can choose your shades) made stacks. She is also releasing an 80's collection called "80's Child" with names like Mutant, Dream House, Romper, Brewster...I'm sure you can guess what inspired these names. :)

All in all I'm very excited to see the new stuff that will be coming from Glamour Doll Eyes in the future.

Anyway onto the pictures of what I've accumulated so far! Swatched over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy unless otherwise noted.

Mind Reader and Black Ice didn't photograph as well as I'd like they have sparkles in them that are beautiful.

I decided to take a closeup/different light view of Mind Reader because it's just so beautiful.

Below: Eye Lights swatched with MAC Mixing Medium

Note: adding ins some more colors I got.

Product: I find the shadows to be very easy to work with, and very pigmented.

Shipping: was perfect for every order, everything was neatly wrapped to avoid spill and I received them around the time advised on the site.

Customer Service: was great as one time Vee wrote me a note in my order advising me that Island Chic was not available due to they ran out of ingredients to make it so that it would arrive shortly after in it's own package. I did receive it within a short time after the original package came.

I would definitely buy from them again (once I'm off my no buy and back to work at the end of December hehe).
