Dinair Foundation Deluxe Airbrush Kit - First Look

After much research into the Dinair, and Temptu airbrush systems as well as a I few other random ones, I decided to order the Dinair Foundation Deluxe Kit last month? I lost track!

My decision was based off of quite a few things (pricing, ease of use, pricing, a review from Xsparkage, and pricing lol.)

This is the first day I got it (which was only a week after I ordered) and how they package as well as one pass over half my face...mind you I didn't quite know how to use the system as it was my first time using it! I was impressed though at how it covered my red cheeks and gave me a very flawless finish for just one pass and not knowing what I was doing!

I plan to do more reviewing as well as tutorials once I can afford to buy more blushes, eyeshadow, brow, and highlights/concealers colors (although I don't seem to need concealer with the system).

Currently I'm broke trying to pay for my wedding stuff lol.

(I also apologize for the pictures not being cropped properly as I had to use MS Paint since I had reformatted)

The items were very well packaged and nothing was just moving around in there (note the black bag doesn't normally come with the kit but they had a Mother's Day deal to get it free with it).

I got quite a few things with this kit and they advertised a deal of $199 for it, which I'm not sure how long it will be going for.

When you order you have the option to pick either Fair, Medium, Tan, or Dark. I ordered the Fair since I'm really, really pale! (They give you 4 different shades of foundation so you can custom mix if needed)

You also get the option to choose the color of your airbrush pump, I went with the pearl white one which is free but some you have to pay for like Zebra print or certain glittery colors (they have a ton of choices for this).

The package comes with: 4 shades of foundation (.25 oz), Airbrush Cleaner, Moist and Dewy, Travel Case, Instructional DVD, and the Adapter Plug (as well as the aibrush gun, air pump, and tube).

I also ordered a blush in Cloudy Pink and a highlight color in Opal White (.25 oz for $12 each).

I had a problem with my tube as it had a small slice in it so I called them up Monday morning due to I received it on a Friday and they were awesome with their customer service! The lady I spoke with apologized and said she would send a replacement out right away. I received my new tube two days later! She also answered my question about the Opal White as I thought it was broken since I couldn't here the little metal ball when I shook it. She told me that the highlighters are a little thicker so I may have to tap the bottom of the bottle on a table and that worked so I was happy. :)

Ignore the brows/lack of eyeliner as I had a long day at work and was tired so I didn't do anything but foundation.

(Note: Left part of the picture, this is with no concealer and only one pass by a complete noob!)

All in all I have to say I'm loving the system....I have had trouble with foundations sliding and looking bad on me (I don't have oily skin but I do have dry skin in areas) most makeup after just an hour tends to look cakey as well. This however last hours and was a snap to do! I will explain more and shows more pictures as I get the hang of it....although it's really simple I'm still playing around with it to get a better opinion.

Note: I paid for all of these items myself!

Dinair Airbrush Kit

So I was staring at the site and the fact that Dinair has a special running for their deluxe airbrush kit for only $199 right now. The fiance' saw me doing this and debating on if I should put off my bridal circlet this month and instead get the kit. In turn he gave me his credit card and bought me the airbrush kit so now I will be receiving this hopefully the middle of next week and be able to review it after I get some practice!

Also I have to review/show some other things I bought, included in these are Sugarpill pigments and the Sweetheart palette as well as some Morgana Minerals lipsticks and whatever else I remember that I bought lol.

Feeling Better

So I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago and found out my issue was being caused by a lymph node in the back of my knee that was infected/blocked which was causing my whole foot/ankle/leg to swell up. I could go into detail but it's too much so I'll say that he has me on a natural supplement that is raising my T cells to fight the infection off and I'm not feeling constantly tired as much anymore. The swelling still happens but doesn't seem to get as bad which is good and he did tell me it would take a few weeks to go away at least.

In short I'll start posting more looks, hauls and reviews since I have more Sugarpill to show as well as some other things. I've been mauling over the idea of buying an airbrush system from Dinair, Temptu, or Obsessive Compulsive to review but am unsure if I want to shell out that amount of funds right now....but we'll see as I really do want to try airbrushing since I have bad luck with foundations in general not looking right on me and being too drying/cakey or too wet feeling.

Plus with my wedding coming up in October I'd like the idea that I could do my own foundation and look flawless in a snap!

Another thing I plan to do when I get more subscribers to my blog/youtube/twitter is throw out some giveaways...I've always liked the idea of letting others get a chance to try out new brands as well as old brands. I plan to do some giveaways with MAC, Sugarpill, Fyrinnae, ect in the prize packs so we'll see how things go!

Have a wonderful Saturday night everyone!
